Quick answer: A complete, personal profile with several photos gets the most attention — and don't be afraid to reach out first.
- Fill out your About Me and interests instead of a one-line description
- Upload up to 6 photos — more photos means more interactions
- Send an Intro Message or reference their profile when you Like someone
Every great connection starts somewhere — and more often than not, it starts with your profile. There are no strict rules in online dating, but taking the time to complete your profile is one of the best ways to catch your match's attention and show them the real you.
Tell your story
Take a little time to fill out your About Me section, and try to avoid one-line descriptions — the more you share, the better. Have fun with it: write creatively, let your personality show, and don't be afraid to add a touch of humor. Be sure to fill out your interests, too. This makes it easy to see at a glance whether you and a match have something in common.
Add your photos
Don't forget your photos! You can upload up to 6 photos, and profiles with more photos tend to get more interactions from other members.
Make the first move
Never be afraid to be the one who reaches out first. A great opener can be simple:
- Send an Intro Message to add a personal note.
- Reference something from their profile when you send a Like to help start the conversation.
- Even a friendly one-liner can make your interest feel more genuine.
You and your matches are all here to find love, so we encourage you to initiate contact as often as you can — it's the best way to truly get to know someone!
