If your credit card payment didn't go through, don't worry — this is usually caused by a few common issues. Please check the points below to help resolve the problem.
Common reasons for an unsuccessful payment
- Card type: Make sure your credit card is a Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover. We don't support any other card types.
- Spaces in the card number: Don't add spaces between the numbers manually — our system adds them automatically.
- CVV (security code): Check that the CVV is entered correctly. This is the 3-digit code on the back of your card. On American Express cards, it's a 4-digit code on the front. If your card has no CVV, it can't be used to purchase a subscription online.
- Available funds: The full membership term is charged as a single lump-sum payment. Please make sure the entire amount is available on your card.
- Card validity and authorization: Confirm that your card is still valid and that your credit card company has authorized the payment.
- Security block: Sometimes an automatic security block is placed on a transaction. Please contact your card provider to make sure this isn't the case.
